Hearts Ablaze Ministries introduces itself to the Capital District
Hearts Ablaze Ministries is pleased to invite you to attend services at its Albany location. Energetic praise and worship, interactive Bible study, and real-to-life preaching are integral parts of Hearts Ablaze. It is a multicultural nondenominational Christian group, where all are welcome to join in a lively and friendly atmosphere.
Hearts Ablaze was founded in July 2004 by Rev. Stephen in Duanesburg, NY. The church moved to Albany in 2005.
Originally from Kumasi, Ghana, Pastor Stephen Addo graduated from Pinecrest Bible Training Center (Salisbury Center, NY) in 2003 and in May of 2004 was ordained by the Pinecrest Ministerial Fellowship under Rev. Jay Francis (Rock Road Chapel, International Accelerated Missions—Berne, NY).
Although he was raised in a Christian home, his mother being a minister, Rev. Addo did not always follow the Lord: until fourteen years ago, when his life was changed. “My testimony is the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in a man’s life,” Pastor Stephen says, “Because He literally turned my life around.” Pastor Stephen now has a vision to help others to come into that same life-changing knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to see the Capital District “set ablaze” for a God who is passionate about His creation.
From Albany to across the globe, Hearts Ablaze seeks to reach people of all ages, from all backgrounds. Regardless of background, all are invited, and all are welcome.
Sunday services begin with a Bible study from 10:00am. to 10:30am, followed by praise and worship, and the preaching of the Word by Rev. Addo. Church Service is from 10:30am to 12:00 noon.
